Can you understand the way?

Roll down the hill with the best of them?

The girls and guys who like each other.

The shame they feel when they walk down the hall.

Equality should be showcased.

Dances and events, where are they and why?

Why can't I go without eyes?

Staring at me like I've been telling lies?

Or staring at the guy by my side?

But at the end who cares?

Except for everyone that stares.

At the way he brushes through my hair

And kisses me with his flare

I just wish that the schools

Weren't full of fools

They advertised equality

So that I could just be me
