Cease to Exist

And there I find myself once again,

lost at sea,

searching for something to save me and pull me to land.

I wonder how long I can stay afloat

as I tread these treacherous waters.

I wish that I could find a way
to be at some sort of equilibrium,
where I am not either drowning in a valley
or hanging on for dear life
on the top of a mountain.
I would not mind if by some point this week
the ground swallowed me alive
and I ceased to exist.
