Poems from Journeyskye
And there I find myself once again,
lost at sea,
searching for something to save me and pull me to land.
I wonder how long I can stay...
He told me that I wasn't pretty enough
So that night, I ate only an orchid flower.
He told me that I wasn't elegant enough
So that...
I dreamt of him
As the jellyfish dreamt of warmer tides.

Why does it follow me?
Insubstantial,
no epiphany lifts it,
Except for a beating heart
And a conscious mind.
What is it?
A darker shade...
She was the epitome of flaws,
an uneven voice and
scratched-up wrists.
