out of place like im missed placed,
still seeing the same things, same problems i still face.
like life never gets old, just old memories erased.
tryna go fast but staying in the same pace,
a snail in a rabbits' race
so i hold my head down and just listen to the bass.
cause words dont follow no mo'
you just anotha reject if you homo.
an even when i hold my head up a tear still falls down,
all love lost, no love found.
to strong to cry, so i do it while ya not here.
you say i dont know wats its like out there,
but that use to be my life, untill you took my rights.
but its no diffrernt, cause me bein here i still gotta fight.
and i dont even know why i try anymore.
then i remember her face, just as desperate as mines.
and i know i could never leave her.
so i stay and live someone else's life.

The first line of this poem is great, because it is so dramatic, and leads the reader straight into the heart of the story. My favorite line is "even when i hold my head up a tear still falls down" because the emotion is so full of pain and it has nice imagery too.
