And to the tie dye I walk

upon the tie dye day

and on the day of dye and tie

I'm not sure if i died

or tied

but tried

alas

I tried.

A note

with particles of sleep deprived

caffeine buzzed

crashing

love

and hearfelt memoirs laced with profanities at midnight

all with a warning to be heeded

or burned

all the same...

and love is a rocket

it's quite obvious

really

so go find your Peter Murphy

in California

where the flowers are depressing

and the ocean

speaks

in tongues of death

but the sunsets are so beautiful and perfect

and in the haze of dying light

I'll always see you standing there

Brownish red hair

a tie dye shirt

beautiful eyes

brown I believe

or blue

or green...

in a pair of tight jeans

and the light shines behind you in the dusty

horizon

dimmed

in a vignette

of your smile

which will cut through

everything.

So go find your life.

While I waste mine

And not forget me

I pray

for the first time

in a thousand days...
