Have you heard the motto,

"Keep calm, Carry on"?

Yet, people still fret ~~

Staying Panics Pawn.

 

I try to keep Calm,

For every situation ~~

But when Disaster strikes,

Others tremble with Trepidation.

 

So now I Sooth,

With Comfort and care,

The Attendants and Adults,

Who scurry here and there.

 

Sirens are wailing;

The Sky’s falling down;

The River is rising;

We're all going to Drown!

 

I pull out some Earplugs,

I get some good Joists,

Load the Life Vests,

And give the rowboat a Hoist.

 

And when the sirens Silence;

The Sky has support;

The River is dropping;

That's when I Abort!

 

I Tremble in terror.

I Quake in the calm.

I Seethe the silence.

I Scream for my Mom!

 

For Terrors that Tower,

Can be handled with Ease.

It's the Small earthquakes,

That bring one to one's Knees.

 

But All through the day ~~

With trials Large or small,

I keep hold of my Faith,

For God Won't Let Me Fall!
