Brotherly Love

As I sit here,
Pondering what I would take,
On a deserted island,
For my life's sake.
I can think but of one necessity,
For me to survive,
My brother is who I'd choose.
We are lethal when together,
Having seen all forms of weather,
Which has given us, knowledge,
Unparallel to any other.
We are not twins,
But we are pretty close,
We read each others thoughts,
And feel each others woes.
We could survive any situation,
For with his brains and my brawns,
We are a unstoppable force.
It's the soul that will allow us to thrive,
For laughter is life's true high.
