Life at times can be funny
For it takes a new turn
Without giving notice
But learn not to be surprised

Try to hold on to facts
And stay truthful to yourself
For if this is not being done
You will end up badly hurt

Hold what you know is yours
But when u realize it's for someone else
Learn to let go
And save yourself from insanity

Whatever that is yours will stay with you no matter what

For that is what life has taught me

Don't claim love with just your mouth
But with your heart
And when you finally stop doing that

For it hurts feeling those lies within

Of what use then when the feelings are gone
