Body Curves and Fine Physique

What do you see when you look at me

Is it my body?

My curves, my fine physique

Now look me in my eyes and tell me what do you see.

A girl with low self-esteem and insecurities

This body I’m in has imprisoned me

It has caused me to be something I never wanted to be.

All because of my body, my curves and my fine physique.

I, have been a victim of smooth word and fancy things

I, have been fooled by someone who made my heart sing,

And as I pat my stomach and think of the new life I will bring,

When he comes into this world angles will play tambourines.

All because I was fooled by someone who made my heart sing.

When I have this baby my body will be no more

This body, men, will no longer adore.

I will finally be FREE!

I will be able to see through my naivety.

My self-esteem will go from a low to a high

The life I will have, my oh my.

No longer will I be a victim,

No longer will I be dumb.

I have better things in store for me.

The prison I was in has set me free.

Good-bye body, curves and fine physique.
