I can hear the anger in your voice and the rapid beat of my heart.
I know that you show no remorse with the harm that you have done.
I sit in a locked room scared of what you will do.
I have always been afraid of you.
Times fade and you’ve aged and now the tables have turned.
I’m not a scared little child who runs away.
I’m not a child who is kept locked away.
I’m a strong lady who fights for what I have to say.
No more imprisonment or fear from you.
I’ll turn out to be much better than you.
