Because You

You have sucked my patience dry

This kindness is killing me

But honestly, you are worth dying for

Because when nothing is worth living for

You remind me that I am no god

But I am divinely inspired

My purpose has not expired

I find it strange that you're not tired of me, though I am

Sometimes I find you so accepting

And it makes me want to give my body to you

But at the same time, you don't make me give my body to you

You let me choose whose hands deserve me

And I look at yours and I think they're worthy

Even when they look dirty because the love in them isn't

Because I love you because you love me

I don't care if we're connecting like bodies

Because I love you, I just want us to be

Of reality, yet free from it

Of the worldly, yet free from 'em

While bound to you, I'll flee from 'em

This wait to be with you is sucking

Sucking my patience dry

This unconditional kindness from you is killing me

Because I love you, because you love me
