I thought you cared

Until the day you didn't come home

From being able to love

To turning so cold

I just assume everyone would leave

I even thought you died!

You left for a week

A week without a word

A week with no assurance

A week of worry

You didn't even care to pick up the phone

You didn't bother to call me

You meant EVERYTHING!

But without hearing your words

You turned yourself to NOTHING!

All because YOU left

Because you didn't come back

When I was little 

All I thought was 

"When will daddy come home?"
