Or do you really?

You say that, do you really mean it?

I can not tell you how many times I've heard that.

People say all the time and you can't tell if they mean it.

I mean,"I'm telling you this because I love you...."

You tell me lies to protect me, from what?

Something that could have been provented. 

You tell me not to worry about mom's problem and 

Now we bury your child, you watch you get taken away. 

You tell me not to go out with friends because you"have a feeling."

Now I'm trapped in an endless cycle, I'm hurting and can't get help.

Now tell me why and don't say" Because I love you"

Those words lost meaning to many ears
