I see boys the same way as I see girls.

My friends feel better when I tell them they are pretty.

I have discovered who cares about me and doesn't.

I have found true friends.

I was afraid in highschool.

I was afraid to tell them who I was.

I watched as my friend who was out get pushed down the stairs,

I watched as teachers walked by and nothing happend.

I watched as other students laughed,

And I picked her up.

Because I am bi,

I couldn't tell anyone else.

Because I am bi,

My best friend told me I was going to hell.

Because I am bi,

She won't sleep over my house.

Because I am bi,

She won't talk to me anymore.

Because I am bi,

I have been told that I am wrong.

Because I am bi,

I have been told I am unnatural.

Because I am bi,

I have been told that I am disgusting. 

Because I am bi,

I am judged before people know me.

Because I am bi,

People only see that I am bi.

But because I am bi,

I have learned to never judge.
