Balance & Compassion

Sun, 11/05/2017 - 21:56 -- dspeir1

I want to hold your hand

As we walk on our different roads.

I offer you my heart,

But not my life.

Support me,

Believe in me,

Care for me,

But don't live solely for me.

Trust me,

Hug me,

Laugh with me,

Bring out the best in me.

Notice the importance of other love,

One's that don't involve you romantically.

Call your Mother,

Write to your Nana,

Visit your Brother,

Tell them you love them.

Respect us,

Value us,

Love us,

But live for you.

Don't die for anyone,

You will just be missed.

You have my shoulder,

And I have your back.

Balance gives us harmony,

Compassion gives us warmth.
