Badminton Player

The alternating movement

from racket to racket.

Anxiety flooding her body

to achieve the goal of winning.

Shoes squeak like mice

reaching for the birdie

as it comes flashing by.

Eyes are lit with passion

as she comes down from

a powerful smash.

Cheering fills the court

while feeling the pride as

she hits the floor

and wins the game.
