Bad Take on Because I Love You

Because I love you

When you walk in the room

I smile

Your stupid hair

It covers your eyes

Sits on your shoulders,

So sweet in the air

I have loved you before

A million years ago

I think you loved me more

But then I stopped, all those lifetimes ago

Nothing was different

You didn't change, I did.

I remember seeing you in the halls after

You didn't smile, or stare

Then you met them

And suddenly it wasn’t me you were smiling over

As I watch your hair

I sit and I smile

As you show the pictures of you two

I sit and I smile

Because I love you
