Arsenal of Words

Oh if my words could build a bridge,

From here to unknown planes.

Oh if my words could linger on,

And peoples' hearts would change.

My swords are sharp but duller still,

are the spirits of many around.

Oh if my words could stop such ill will,

Joy and happiness would abound.

Oh if my words could build a castle,

That stood strong and high erected.

Thief’s and betrayers couldn’t hassle,

The reader’s heart protected.

My weapons I will fashion till dawn,

Until all my troubles and worries are gone.

Hopefully it will help right some wrong,

And drive those that read to also long.
