Apple of his Eye

I’m supposed to be different. Evil and much darker. Traits that seem absent. In this bitter but sweet disaster. With genes like these, My fate nearly sealed. Lonely and furious, Rotten and concealed. Apple of his eye, From deep trampled fear. Does her best to defy, What she hopes won’t appear. ‘The apple never falls far from the tree’ To that I say, you’ve never met me
