Applause

In this gloomy afternoon,
A young man on his way home.
Called by a familiar voice which gave him boon.
A head was turned by a young man named Jerome.

What he saw, was far from his greatest fantasy,
But rather his greatest nightmare.
For his heart which teemed cheerfully,
is now dead on the ground filled with despair.

The love of his life, in the arms of another,
Filled his despairing heart with bitter regrets.
As his head and the skies filled with raging thunder,
Yet, he applauded the nightmare that he wanted to forget.
