AND WE FOUND ALL THAT

AND WE FOUND ALL THAT

I know agony.

I know victory.

I thought I knew love...

My nights sleeping with shadows

      of empty arms.

And lonely dreams

of beach sand sifting through my fingers...

Hollow laughter.

What are they after?

It's Venice after dark.

With masked faces.

And mindless dance hall places...

In the twilight of my fate.

I thought it was too late.

For me to kiss the wind,

See the moon dance with the stars.

Watch the sun call the eagle to soar.

And feel alive like never before...

Then you walked in.

You opened a door

      from behind the shadow within...

And I knew the name of your heart.

That I had danced with your soul

For all my life before...

I knew that your eyes were never understood.

Your smile never kissed.

Your heart never loved.

The way it needed.

And you pleaded...

And all of me needed.

And all of me pleaded.

For another chance.
To dance...

And we found all that

and more

together....
