Anchor

I don't care what they say

because I love you anyway

a mighty ship on a turbulent see

let me be

your anchor

 the beacon of freedom

to absorb your anger

wise enough to know I cant keep you from danger

or be your saviour

but when the wind whips ships

like your heart

unravel that chain

before it catches your larynx

throw me to the sea floor and let my love be apparent
