An Analogy of Depression

Location

Changes don’t happen overnight;

 but if they did, think of it this way:

dusk is the beginning of the bad stuff.

The darkness sets in slowly,

and then all at once,

you can barely see your hand in front of your face.

And then, eventually, the dawn comes.

A lot of people don’t notice it

because they take it for granted.

But if you’re in the dark place, you will see it coming,

and it will seem to take forever and a day

for the Sun to rise, but it will rise. It will.

Just be patient.

And the Sun will get higher and brighter,

 just like you will get better and happier.
