Always in the know

Matthew 7:5

You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

The hypocrite within …

Always in the know

Yesterday were did you go … why did you disappear?

You showed up as today again and just don’t let me go

You are always in the know it seems and show up right here

A temporal presence for sure as backwards we seem to go

If I ask for simple reason … you drag me towards the past

If I hunger for some assurance you point at what won’t last

If I drag along some baggage you act like you’re aghast

If I hunger for solutions you act like life is a blast
