At one point in time we believe we are the center

Whether it was while we were younger and ignorant

Or hundreds of years ago when man was just learning

While today we know this isn’t true

Other days that fact is hard to swallow

But we are not the only ones here

Narcissism and hubris will only lead to a downfall

 How long that drop takes is anyone’s guess

Realization will follow and it may be too late

Ask anyone today, “Are we ever alone?”

The answer will always vary but its core is the same

“No, we are not alone,” someone knows we are here

Whether it be through faith or the GPS chip in your phone

At all times, day or night, we will never be alone
