All That Money

The search for money plagues the dream

Creates a goal of unachievable means

Of wanting more than the person above

Getting all that money will be tough

When you get more money than that guy

And that will take a lot of time

You will want more than the person above

Getting all that money will be tough

Now you want stuff, but don't want to spend it

This feeling of being behind is unpleasant

You feel unhappy with less stuff

Keeping all that money will be tough

You can't keep the money so where does it go

You buy and collect things that will come and go

You spend and spend till you have enough

Losing all that money will be tough

Selfishness has adulterated the dream

You will never be complacent

When the dream you want is ever evasive

This strive for money is like a disease

You can't reach this goal of unachievable means

When money is stored in a safe bank account

Money can be great in careful amounts

But when it is all you strive for

This dream will not be one to die for
