Age Isn’t Just A Number

You never realize when you are a child

that in just a few years your life will go wild.

you never think about the responsibility

and the fact that you will hold your own accountability.

now as you walk across the stage,

it finally hits you that you have hit the age

where it’s time to say fair well

to all your friends and childhood as well.

Do you know where you’re going

or what you’re doing?

no but that’s all in the beauty of growing.

Because time is slipping right under

since age isn’t just a number.
