The Aftermath

Location

I stood so tall, chin up to the sky

no one thought I'd fall, or come down a size

after all this time, the whole world can see

underneath this smile I'm fighting for a dream

Hardwork and dsicipline ran through my viens

much like my legs, I endured so much pain

I Captain'd and captured ever sign of talent

only to have dreams crushed by a mallot

My teammates left, leaving me stranded

hanging by a thread, I could barely stand it

No boys team or Girls team, just me and two freshmen

Time to start over, here we go again

After all this time, the whole world can see

underneath this smile, I'm fighting for a dream;

The three of us fought and trained harder than ever

We ran after one girl, we need to be better

I stand very tall, my chin to the sky

I will not fall, or come down a size

After all this time, now you can see

underneath this smile, I'm fighting for a dream

My Heart and my legs have endured much pain

but in the end, it is worth the gain.
