Addiction

I see you and my heart immediately begins to beat faster and faster.

I get sweaty palms and my body grows hot whenever my mind chases yours.

Your name wrapped around my tongue is always trying to drool its way out.

Slobbering over your name is much too addicting to stop or to wipe away.

My poor fingers shake like an earthquake when they suddenly reach for you.

My head spinning out of control as it repeats your daily schedule and recites it by heart.

I have an addiction. I can’t control my addiction. I must have my addiction.

Underneath my eyelids your smile is forever tattooed for my desired pleasure.

I go crazy every day making my schedule fit yours.

I watch from the sidelines and jump at the most probable moment in order to be close to you.

I linger near you as much as I can before I secretly smell your imprinted aroma on my skin.

The scent making my skin be coated in goosebumps in pure joy.

I have an addiction. I can’t control my addiction. I must have my addiction.
