5 Minutes of a Good Time

Dear Ex,

I’m not plastic. I’m real, but you didn’t want that.

You wanted something recycle and used over and over again.

You never wanted lovin, you wanted 5 minutes of a “good time”.

Sad to say those 5 minutes meant nothing to me.

You could never look me in the eyes and say I love you.

Funny how you thought you played me a fool, but little did you know that I was playing you.

Thanks for the ring, but the bells won’t be ringing.

Don’t ring my doorbell when you see your things outside the door.

I’m too busy enjoying my 5 minutes of a good time all on my own.

Love, the woman you never had.
