 Individual clouds stole the sky

 Pounding their staffs
 Upon the roof of the coach
 Rattling towards June
 But all they reached was the moon
 The father of Earth’s night
 Who proposed to Venus,
 Our Madame Midnight
 Only hours could hold them apart
