A 1968 mustang
Will you still love me when my locks have turned gray
My dark skin losing texture inevitable as my ashes to one day fly with jays
As the ticks of the clock refuse to stop you'll join me one day
Transformed into youthful lovebirds gazing the sunset overtop the bay
Eyes hungry for the wild side of the years to come
Precious moments quickly over for others but not some
Feel my fingers grazing your hair as my lips hum in your open ears
Speeding in a 1968 mustang let go of your fears
Route 101 seems to never end why not our lifetime
Hush, listen to the wedding bells chime
Dressed from head to toe in white
As we take our last slow dance, not letting you out of sight
The golden years have bestowed upon us
However that doesn't kill my lust
