10 Minutes of Your Time

I'm not here to preach

But there's something I have to get off my chest

Growing up, watching "A Haunted Mansion"
I had a pretty cool grandfather; didn't know 10 minutes was all that it took to hate a man

I wonder what you're thinking?
What could someone do in 10 minutes to make me hate them

A hand, a cold hand was all it took to make me hate you.

In all those 10 minutes, I could have left, I could have yelled out, "Bloody Murder", instead I kept quiet, I couldn't hear my heartbeat.
My sister was sleeping, if I had left, you would have done the same, in under 10 minutes.

But today, I do not hate you, I forgive you for those 10 minutes.
You will not take up any more minutes in my life.

I hope you're happy stuck in a room, never to leave.
