“If There’s a Will, There’s a Way”

The stuff on the news? Yeah, I know it really happens. The “bad guys” in the world? I know they’re not like those in cartoons – they will do whatever it takes to bring me down. I know the saying “life is tough” is never said without weight added. So you tell me, “Get your head in the real world” – as if I’ve been living in a fake one all this time. I know you think I’m a little miss know-it-all who is in for a “rude awakening” but did it ever occur to you that I may, just may, know a little bit more about what my heart is telling me than you do? I may not understand all the obstacles of life – but, hey, isn’t that what living is for? And no, of course I don’t know the first thing about what it takes to earn a living – but I’m sure going to find out. You’ve raised me to be a smart kid – you sent me to a good school, pushed me to work hard and reach for the stars – Can’t you see that the wishes I put on all those stars are actually coming true? Why can’t you believe I can fly? What happen to “Faith, trust and pixie dust?” Don’t worry, “If there’s a will, there’s a way”. That’s one quote I will always turn to for inspiration. Just wait and see.
