Seasons Change

glowing inside and out,

a warmth radiating from her body.

you can see her ideas sprout,

confidence flourishing like a poppy

winds start to kick up,

unstable leaves fall to the ground

cells start to succumb all around. 

winter sets into place.

just one more embrace…

but it is to late,

there it is,

a snowflake,

soon her bones start to ache. 

like the warm weather her smile is gone.

all that is left, is a shell of person

will her condition worsen ?

one snowflake soon turns into a storm, then a blizzard. 

she shivered,

physically here, but lost with the weather. 

never will she shine the same.

please come back! I exclaim
