Edible

He took me out of my wrapper,

swirled me around his tongue.

He savored the juices of me,

as he let them slowly trickle down his throat.

But he couldn’t resist,

when I became so tender,

to bite down,

let my shell melt to nothing,

and

    Swallow

               Me

                     Down.
