Nature's Society

Snowfall. Dawn.

Today’s a new day; I woke up under a tree.

I did not see it before, was used to being in cages

For the one in my company, I have nothing to bring,

But a word of thought, as cold winter rages.

Lost in the wild, I find me. To learn from the anomaly.

These lands theirs - are my bane.

For me or it to fade- what a shame.

Oh, how the owl flies! Sees all around; whether lands or skies.

Oh, how the wolf strides! In cold darkness; learns to survive.

This world of old, renewed under blazing fires.

People turned taken lands into industries.

Fallen days of yore, reduced to metal mires

Do we forget these paths to our societies?

I go to the wilds, and I find me. To learn from the anomaly.

These lands theirs - are my bane.

For me or it to fade- what a shame.

Oh, how the owl flies! Sees all around; whether lands or skies.

Oh, how the wolf strides! In cold darkness; learns to survive.

I knew my world no more, so I went to its roots.

I must learn from the wild; my history.

I can-not prepare far beyond my own boots.

In my pursuit, will frost claim me?

Knock Knock. Dusk.
