Main Fear

Fear, a concept I am most familiar with.

As intriguing as a well-known myth.

One thing I have feared most; losing friends,

For friends are meant to stay until the very end.

To me, friendships mean a great deal,

They fill me just like a three course meal.

Confidence, love, and sense of belonging,

All are given which creates genuine bonding.

As I’ve learned however, some will leave.

Causing me to mourn and to grieve.

Through experience though,

I’ve been taught friends leave so I can grow.

Remaining hopeful and optimistic,

Overcoming life’s tests and tricks.
