On the Bridge

Sturdy over water

Flowing fast and free

Moonlight shines below

You let me stand above

A spectacular view

Peaceful

Beauty

Free

The water rushes

The lights shine

A breeze blows the trees

A pleasant cold to me

Music soft

Stars all gone

Moon, a sliver

In a velvet sky

No diamond dots

But there's light on the water

A welcoming glow

A hill to climb

Back to home

Back to warm

While I love

The warmth and light

On the bridge

I'd rather spend

Another night
