What Love Should Be

Burning red hot embers floating on the breeze

Gentle caresses of peace and serenity

Breath taking heart racing palms sweating

Memories suspended in unending time

Anger transcending to open passion

Heart reaching out begging for touch

Could this really be

Falling slowly without thought without realization

Trembling fingers scared to ask for more

Terrified of the reality the realm of possibility

Hearts beaming with the light of a thousand suns

Lighting paths transcending time

Only for you I bleed unforgiving

Could this really be

Without a doubt without a question

This is no, this truly is

Love transcended
