The Lost Generation (Remake)

I am part of a lost generation.

And I refuse to believe that

I can rebuild the world.

I realzed this may be a shock but

" Determination is deep within"

Is a lie, and

"Fame  will make me shine"

So in thirty years, I will tell my children

They wont be the most imporant thing in my life.

My employee will know that

I have my priorities straight because

Money

Is more important than

Family

I tell you this :

Once upon a  time

Families came together

But this will not be true in my era.

This is a quick fixed society

Scienticist tell me

Thirty years from now, I will  be celebrating the tenth

anniversary of my divorce.

I do  not consider that

I will live in a community of my own making.

In the future,

Economic destruction will be  the norm.

No longer can it be said that

My friends and I care about the Earth.

It will be acceptional that

My generation is stupid and dependable.

It is outragious to think

There is light.

And all of this will come true unless you reverse it.
