A thought in the evening
The city roads are full of potholes.
The railroads creek and squeak with the passing of heavy machinery.
I sit in the garage at my borther's home.
I am a homeless college graduate--in debt.
Went through a change of heart at the end of my college career.
Now, I have a Master's degree in Mathematics, but it no longer is my subject.
Writing is a new focus in life, philosophy has expanded my mind.
Good things are coming my way.
With a clear mind, and patience--and some action,
all will be fine.
This poem is about:
Me
My community
My country
Our world
