These Leaves
I believe that leaves grow on the strength of their trees
So that one day they leave and reach for new feats
And these leaves that grow too fast, soon break free
And roam the pastures of uncommon things
And I believe, like these leaves, we too grow from seeds
Sowed in us by the nurturing of a loving family
So that we leaves may soon leave and roam free in the breeze
With the wisdom of elders planted in our beings
We leave the trees to be all we can be
