It's Yours Now

Hang on, let me just let out one last drop.

Take one more sip for me, it's alright.

Suck it up until its ready to stop

and you feel like you can climb to the top

it's okay, just let me fall and give up the fight.

Strength is vain and I have no need

When nothingness nears me

I'll grab it tight and you can take heed

that I'll be happy you take all I bleed

to breathe another day and be.

I have accepted it and that's okay,

I'm happy to bleed for you

so you can love the break of day

but I ask you just leave me where I lay

so the vultures can have their meal too.

It's okay, I'm alright, I swear.

I'll be better by day break

when I no longer have to care

when I have done what I once would not dare.

when my joy I no longer have to fake.

As it all run out,

feel pleasure I leave you

doing what I have always been about

I leave you in no ill bout

but instead I leave to please you.

Be happy, I promise, I hold no ill will.

These are my honest wishes for you.

I wish you happiness that overflows until

you are always smiling, even when you are over the hill,

remembering the days when we had each other and my love was true.

If I leave you tonight,

know my spirit flows through your veins

and I know you may not always fight

but know that my spirit will help you through the night

and although I couldn't get through, I'll never let you feel my pains.
