I am a body of water

Stretching far and wide

Beyond and away

From my shores, to some unknown

Place

And my body is the water

It rolls and ripples

And my mind is the water

Calm and glassy

With breakers that crash

Around the edges

And my heart is the water

Deep and encompassing

And just like the water

I come and go in waves
