You dragged me out the dark and showed me the light.

Your rhythms and rhymes are what allowed me to see through any plight.

You gave me the strength to fight this losing fight called life.  

I put earphones in to block out anything that could cause me strife.

Why? Because I've trusted too much.

I gave my heart and it ultimately got crushed, crumbled and then it blew away with the dust.

So for now, I'm just gonna be with music until i can find someone i can truly trust.
