I am better at writing
than making a verbal speech
so don't expect me to preach
out loud without my vocal cords tightening
and my nerves draining
from that breech
of that "emotional wall" breaking leech
that I'm always fighting.
Now, I calm down
grab a pen
and write
as I make an inverted frown
feeling good as I've ever been,
ideas in my mind ignite.
