When I think of a great perhaps,

I think of a new beginning.

What’s going to become of me?

What is in my future?

Is it the best I can possibly achieve in life?

I actually am not quite sure about my great

perhaps.

Seeings how it hasn't actually come to pass!

I have two directions.

I want to travel in my life.

The date is 2015.

I am a junior.

At Cornerstone University.

I am choosing my actual major.

I have been torn between two passions.

To be a doctor.

Or be a teacher.

I choose Pre-Med.

I struggle through.

Twelve long expensive years of school.

Finally at age 30.

I graduate.

I am a doctor.

I make enough money.

However, my college debt still remains.

I marry my boyfriend.

But there’s no time for family.

I go on fun vacations with him.

Whenever I am not too busy.

Have I achieved my great perhaps?

I only had to complete four years at Cornerstone.

Leaving me to start.

Paying off my student loans.

Instead of adding more and more.

I marry my boyfriend.

I have a son.

I name him Michael.

I teach children.

something I love to do.

I don’t make as much money as I’d like.

In fact I’m barely getting by.

However, I spend my time with family and my students.

Just a few years out of college.

I am successful.

And happy.

And still young.

I have achieved my great perhaps.
