A Story About a King
The knights failed him. His officers were weak. His frustration grew, but nothing comparable to his piercing agony of solitude. Finally, He humbled himself and gave it all away. Removed his crown and said, "Today is the day." He fell to his knees and without a thought, he began to dig. One would think he had claws of steel masked with sincere determination. And on the seventh day of his clawing through the earth, bypassing a multitude of precious jewels and treasures, he found exactly what he was looking for. The mustard seed that would change his life forever. And He took that seed and ate it. And all the earth shunned him saying, "You fool! you had enough food to feed thousands!" The king kindly replied, "Your meat fills my belly for an hour. But this seed will fill my heart forever." And with that, the king was satisfied and went on to live a life more abundant than any king in the lands.
