Begging with your strong fingertips
You grasped into my vacant soul
For dear life
Your eyes screamed for my body
A stare so heavily
It burnt the clothes off my body
Reckless, you left my heart
I'm Unchained.
I'm Django trying to fandango.
Only I have the key though,
and it fits the hole
Like wack-a-mole with a bowl
my mind is swole.
I need paper.
Without I'm nothing,
What can we do when the world is jumbled social media has control but it has a scattered soul.
While we muddled over scraps of information scraped off corporate backs.
what exactly must i do
to attract the gaze God gave to you?
and what exactly must you hear
to suddenly know you want me near?
i know it's nothing i can say
to change my image in your brain,
A voice is not a voice
Without reason to speak
A voice with reason
Is meant to be heard
Without it, it's a murmur
Something everyone does
I have a voice inside my soul
I Am A Shooting Star
Once You See Me I Amaze You
But By Time You See Me, Im Already Gone
My Existence Has Already Been No Longer
Dead To The Outside, But Alive In Your Mind
The monster is waiting.
I can hear it crawling.
I can hear it's breath.
I can hear it racing.
And it carries death.
The monster is waiting.
Shoot her.
The you in the mirror
Or the you before the mirror.
One wears a malicious smile
The other tear-stained cheeks.
She taunts and dehumanizes
Fat.
With power, comes control.
With power, comes anger.
With power, comes lack of integrity.
With power, comes control.
With power, comes anger.
With power, comes lack of integrity.
She sits on a train, trapped, without power,
Reaching speeds of one hundred miles an hour.
Her future a dream, destination untold,
All she knows is she’s stuck, there, on that road.
I’m like a minnow against the whim of the sea
I can’t let my heart get thirsty
Or it’ll make a slave of me.
I wake up musing
Still shadowed by last night’s dreams.
And fervidly before me,
Sitting, staring blankly into space
You can't see anything
Nothing at all
Except that image in your head
A faint figure standing behind you
It is you
You are powerless
